Last week I took of photo of the bench in the back of the yard and now you can barely see it.

I am trying out different filters/effects.

Since "popping out" to take a photo in the back yard, in -25ºC weather, with snow up to my knees, involves all these extra, warm clothes,

I walked to get the mail too (sorry about the mitten in the top of the photo, this is taken with my phone).

A Loggerhead Shrike caught a bird in our backyard.

We have never seen this bird before (I don't think it should be so far north in the wintertime), so it was interesting to learn about it.
