The finished results after a week of hard work!
We removed grass and sand, added landscape fabric and mulch, more trees, plus a patio around the fire pit.

We found a beautiful Polyphemus Moth in the back yard today.
We have come across the caterpillars and empty cocoons, but this is the first time we have found the moth.
At first I thought it was just a leaf.

Last week we enjoyed cold drinks and record breaking plus 30℃ on those chairs, and today they were covered in snow!!
This is pretty normal for here, and everything survives - and thrives.

We had a quick trip to Vancouver this weekend for my husband's work. This is leaving Vancouver
- the Rocky Mountains
and arriving in Winnipeg - the Prairies.
This was the first time we had such a clear view of our small village (outside of Winnipeg).

Our oldest son is graduating university this year and starting a new business, today he and his business partner bought their first piece of equipment - a dump trailer - pretty exciting!
