Day 174

I spent a lovely day teaching free motion quilting to a group of talented women.

Day 173

A pair of American Goldfinches.
(It was pouring rain outside and the window was dripping with water, so not the best picture.)

Day 172

My son got a good deal on a 'fixer-up' bike, and after a lot of work he was finally able to get it running to try it out this evening.

Day 171

A good day to clean the windows (and a lot more things!).

Day 170

Finished hand spun yarn (silk and merino from New Zealand!).
I want to try making a true moebius cowl (similar to this).

Day 169

Crazy weather, but interesting clouds.

Day 168

Spinning some 3-ply yarn.

Day 167

Amazing what rain and heat can do.

Day 166

I did some non-quilting sewing today - it was nice to sew big pieces of fabric.
My family wanted pillows for the floor when they watch TV.

Day 165

We went for a bike ride today. Summer is back, 31℃ today, with humidity it feels like 42℃.

Day 164

I guess the delphiniums loved all the rain, they have never looked so good.

Day 163

I trimmed a couple of shrubs in the front flower bed today -

Day 162

I finished the mystery knit along today! I had challenged myself to keep up with the 'clues' and the last one was today. Two types of hand dyed yarn (silk, and silk and mohair) from England, and almost 70g of triangular beads. More info here.

Day 161

Canada Day!
Cool, rain and high winds, hopefully this is the last day of bad weather. The sun is supposed to start shinning for the rest of the week!
