A young Red Winged Blackbird is spending the winter here too.

now I have to wait until Monday for the next step.

The birds were out in full force today.
With temperatures around freezing, it feels more like spring. 
Hard to believe that 2 years ago on this date it was -43℃!

Yesterday was a beautiful frosty day. I love the sound the snow makes in the winter when I walk on it, and I wanted to share it. There are also the sounds of the birds, and the sounds from the children playing outside in the school grounds behind our home.
